How does it work? The tooth is prepared for the procedure by lightly etching the surface and applying a bonding or adhering material. Then a plastic resin is applied and sculpted into the desired shape by the dentist. Once set, the resin is trimmed, smoothed and polished to a natural appearance. Dental Bonding also called direct veneers. Unlike porcelain veneers whereby wafer porcelain pieces are made in the labs, dental bonding is a procedure of applying tooth-colored resin material and hardened with a special light on the surface of front teeth in improving one's smile. |
